Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority were both founded on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. in 1914 and 1920 respectively. Zeta became the first national sorority to be organized as a sister organization to a fraternity, and today the two remain the ONLY constitutionally bound "sister-brother" affiliation.
