Psychology is the science of mental processes and behavior.  The study of emotional and behavioral characteristics of an individual, group, or activity (the psychology of war).  There are a number of subdisciplines within the field of Psychology.  Below is a partial list of some of the more traditional academic subdisciplines within the field of Psychology.
