Submissions
Proposals or abstracts of papers, completed papers, or topics for panel
discussion on any area in the academic study of religion--and of
philosophy as it pertains to religion --are welcome. Presentation time for
papers must not exceed twenty minutes in order to allow time for questions
and discussion. Send proposals, abstracts, papers and topics by JUNE 30,
2008.
Housing
Western Carolina University has set aside guest rooms on campus for
Thursday and Friday nights. Each room has a queen sized bed and a private
bath. The cost per night is $59.75. More information on reservations and
lodging will follow.
Undergraduate and Graduate Student Essay Contests
The Association will honor the best student essays,
undergraduate and graduate, with a stipend of $100 each, to be awarded at
the conference. To be eligible, students must submit the entire paper
(c.2500 words) by June 30. The submission must also be accompanied by a
brief supporting letter from a faculty sponsor.
Submission via e-mail attachment, preferably in Microsoft Word, is
strongly encouraged. Please direct all submissions and inquiries to
