Announcement
The 2008 annual conference of the North Carolina
Religious Studies Association will be held Friday, October 24 on the campus of
Western Carolina University.
Location
The Seminar will be held in Madison Hall Conference Center at Western
Carolina. Cullowhee is located approximately
50 miles west of Asheville, North Carolina on U.S. 19/23 in the Smoky
Mountains near the Appalachian Trail, Great Smoky Mountain National Park,
The Blue Ridge Parkway, the Nantahala River Gorge, and several National
Forests and some of the largest wilderness areas in the Eastern United
States.
Lodging
For those who choose to stay in Cullowhee, lodging on campus at Madison Hall
is available. The price will be $59.75 per night. Each room has one
queen sized bed and a private bath. Rooms are available both Thursday
and Friday night, in case people want to stay and enjoy the mountains.
Guests must pay by cash or check only. Credit cards won't work. If you
plan to check in after 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, let the local
arrangements chair know. Checkout time is 11:00 a.m. Contact Chris Hoyt,

than Monday, September 22
