The 2005 meeting of the North Carolina Religious Studies Association will be
held on the campus of Wingate University, in the south wing of the Batte Fine
Directions to Wingate can be found on the University's website at

Batte Fine Arts Center, enter the campus through the main, brick gateway on
Highway 74 in Wingate. Go straight through the first stop sign, past the pond,
and take the next left onto Cedar Street. Turn right into the parking drive and
left into the parking area closest to the Batte Center.
For those needing accommodations, Edwin Bagley, local arrangements
co-coordinator, has reserved rooms at the Hampton Inn in Monroe: 2368 Roland
Dr., Monroe, NC 28110. To get the
conference rate of $55/night, call the Hampton Inn at (704) 220-2200. The rooms
are reserved in Dr. Bagley's name.

Directions to Dr. Bagley's home: From the Hampton Inn, drive east
toward Wingate for about three miles on Highway 74. Turn north (left) onto
Morgan Mill Road at Quincy=s Steakhouse, near the Holiday Inn and Days Inn
motels. Morgan Mill Road is also labeled as Highway 200 N, and you should be
driving away from downtown Monroe. Drive three and three-tenths miles north, and
turn right onto Village Lake Drive at the brick gateway. (It is just beyond S &
S Tire Service; if you get to the Shell station at New Salem Road, you have gone
too far.) From Village Lake Drive, take the first right onto Aegean, then the
next right onto Waterview Lane. Go to the end of the street. The house is on the
