 | The mission of the Crime Prevention Program is to support the Campus

NET TIPS
 |
Each day a crime prevention tip is sent to the University faculty/staff
and students by E-Mail to help reduce the risk of becoming a crime victim
whether at work or home. The goal is to heighten awareness
of our surroundings and to remind us that we have the power to effect the
outcome of a crime risk. Little things such as; locking doors,
being alert, taking that extra second to roll up a vehicle window, putting
valuables out of sight, and just making it harder and more time consuming
for a would be criminal to perpetrate a crime. Hopefully the tips
will affect someone's thinking about what can be done for their own
safety, the safety of the campus community, our homes, and wherever we
are on a day to day basis. |
 |
The student radio station WFSB run infomercials that carry
crime prevention tips throughout the day during broadcasting. WFSB is
a student run station and is manned by volunteers. It runs between the
hours of 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. |
