Brother's Keeper is an organization which falls under the auspices of the Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. The program, which is in partnership with Steel Magnolias, is non-profit. In an effort to provide a comprehensive service to the participants, program activities concentrate upon the following areas: the academic, the cultural, the social, the athletic, and the spiritual. Brother's Keeper meets three to four times a week, one of which the parents must attend with their child. It is this parental participation, which serves to make us somewhat unique.
