JAZZ BAND
A performing group within the instrumental program of Fayetteville State University that studies and performs Jazz and Contemporary literature. This ensemble consist of alto saxophones, tenor saxophones, baritone saxophone, trombones, bass trombone, trumpets, bass, drum set, auxiliary percussion, and keyboard. The Jazz Ensemble performs for university, the University of North Carolina School System activities, social, and community activities of the area surrounding Fayetteville State University. National and International travel opportunities are available to students who participate in the Jazz Ensemble. Participation in this ensemble is open to Fayetteville State University students through audition and/or by permission of the instructor.
