Welcome to the AUTOS Commuter Student Organization website!                               

Greetings to my fellow commuters, I am so excited to welcome you to the 2008- 2009 school year at Fayetteville State University. To the incoming freshman and transfer students, my e-board and I are so excited to be able to serve you this school year. All summer long we’ve been planning for your arrival and hope you will participate in the activities that we planned especially for “U”. AUTOS is an acronym for Achieving Understand Toward Off-Campus Students.  It’s our job to get commuter students involved on campus, as well as making them aware of campus activities and events. This year AUTOS is putting a little twist on college life, instead of coming to us we will be coming to you. That means more events in the commuter parking lots and places where we as commuters are.

Our organization is well known for "Good Morning/Good Evening Commuters and for our Commuter Appreciation Week, which is our way of saying, commuters you are appreciated!  During this week, we offer food, games, prizes, as well as entertainment all free of charge.  This year AUTOS is taking things to a totally different level, so if you want to be a part of what AUTOS will accomplish this year just join in on the fun. Our membership dues are only $10, and the meeting dates are posted on our website.  If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or suggestions, feel free to contact me at capotts01@uncfsu.edu.  If you are a commuter student and have suggestions on events or new ideas feel free to lets us know. Your college experience is what you make of it, so welcome and I look forward to you joining our AUTOS family.
