Testifyin' is a
project that combines art and theatre. The visual art component is a
competition which addresses the diverse voices and visions which give
complexity and depth to any woman's reality. Performance of the Vagina
Monologues, in conjunction with Testifyin' competition, will take place before
the public opening of the exhibit. The exhibit is a testimony of women
speaking out and expressing one's own truth. A percentage of the proceeds will
go to the Care Center Battered Woman's Shelter Special Fund in Fayetteville,
North Carolina.
