ARTIST STATEMENT This artist finds
beauty in faces, trees, flowers and architecture. In the past 25
years, she has attempted to capture on paper and fabric, intense
color, emotion, and beauty. Her batiks have attempted to convey a
sense of the gracious beauty of African American women with an
emphasis on the emotional connection of women with their children.
