President Zohair Ahmad and Vice President Chris Freeman called the meeting to order. The topics for discussion were meeting times, the programming contest, fundraisers, and speakers. The meeting times will be discussed at a later date.

Next we discussed the programming contest, which will be held November 10, 2001. If any one is interested please see Chris Freeman, Zohair Ahmad, Felicia Mckoy, or Dwight House. Each team will consist of three people.

Fundraiser ideas were next, last semester the fundraiser was a big success. So this semester we plan to make it even better, if there are any suggestions please contact any of the officers above. Chris mention that in the area of speakers that he has one in mind, and at the next meeting we will discuss a time and a place for this to occur.

During the meeting we had a visitor, Mrs. Deborah Vasquez from Career Services, who brought information on the Career Awareness Week that will be held September 10-14, 2001. This event will take place in the Student Center. During this week there will be fashions shows, and also a job fair will be held September 13. She encourages everyone who can to attend.

The meeting was then adjourned.
